Keep your pantry fully stocked with premium dry goods designed for high-volume hospitality, catering, and retail operations. From aromatic basmati and versatile everyday rice to authentic Italian pasta and reliable commercial flours, our wholesale range ensures consistent quality and performance for every recipe. Start with the type of rice or flour that matches your menu.

Basmati Rice

Basmati is a long, slender, aromatic grain that cooks dry and fluffy, making it the usual choice for biryani, pilaf, and Middle Eastern rice dishes. We stock Classic, Golden Sella, Everyday, Biryani and Devaaya ranges in 5kg bags, 20kg bags and multi-bag cartons.

Medium Grain and Everyday Rice

Medium grain rice is softer and a little stickier, which suits stuffed vegetables, rice puddings and family meals. SunRice Medium comes in a 10kg bag, and Alishaan Daily Everyday Rice and Watani Rice come in 5kg bags sold in packs of four.

Pasta and Noodles

San Remo Egg Noodles come in 1kg packs, sold in packs of five, for takeaways, noodle soups and stir-fries. Browse the pasta subcategory for more pasta.

Flour

Centurion Special White Flour comes in 12.5kg bags, sold as a pack of six, for bakeries, pastry and bread making. Corn flour and rice flour have their own subcategories.

Why Buy Rice and Flour from Bulk Star

Sourcing quality staples for your kitchen, café, or retail shelves shouldn’t slow down your operations. At Bulk Star, we provide a reliable supply of premium rice and wholesale flour tailored to the demands of commercial kitchens, caterers, and food businesses across Australia. From everyday cooking essentials to authentic grain varieties, our pantry staples deliver consistent texture, reliable yields, and exceptional value.

Bag, carton and pallet sizes

Choose 5kg bags for a family or small café, 10kg and 20kg bags for busy kitchens, or full pallets for wholesale volumes. Multi-bag cartons usually bring the price per kilo down and mean fewer orders.

Rice brands you can trust

We stock well-known basmati brands including India Gate, Daawat and Mahmood, alongside Watani, SunRice and Alishaan. The brand is shown on every product page, so you can pick the one your customers ask for.

Delivery and click & collect

Orders ship from our Melbourne warehouse, with free delivery on purchases over $350 (T&Cs apply). Rice and flour are heavy, so delivery saves a trip. Click & collect is also available.

FAQs

1-What is the difference between basmati and medium grain rice?

Basmati is a long, thin grain with a distinctive aroma that cooks light, dry and separate, which suits biryani and pilaf. Medium grain rice is shorter and softer, with more stickiness, which suits stuffed vegetables, puddings and everyday meals.

2-How should bulk rice be stored?

Keep rice in a cool, dry place, in its sealed bag or an airtight container, away from moisture and pests. Stored this way, dry white rice keeps for many months. Use the oldest bags first and check the best-before date on the pack.

3-How much rice should a restaurant order?

A common rule is about 75 to 100g of uncooked rice per serving. Multiply that by your weekly covers and add a buffer of 10 to 15% for busy periods. Larger bags and cartons usually lower the price per kilo and mean fewer reorders.

4-Do you sell 20kg rice bags?

Yes. Watani Basmati Rice is sold in a 20kg bag, and also as a pack of two bags. For larger volumes, see our rice pallets in the pallet section.
